What was not working and what we built
Sales forecasting and planning system
Sales & Demand Forecasting System
The problem
Forecasts from distributors and clients arrive in different formats. The data is merged by hand, and products are measured in different units. This makes it hard to consolidate, estimate expected revenue and link to production planning.
The solution
One system that automatically collects, processes and consolidates sales forecasts and feeds them into planning. Once enough data has built up, AI can suggest forecasts based on history, seasonality and trends.
- Less manual work
- More reliable forecasts
- Better coordination with production
Key features
- Automatic import of forecasts from clients and distributors
- Standardised formats and units of measure
- Consolidation by region, client, product and period
- Forecast revenue based on valid prices
- Comparison of forecast and actual sales
- Forecast versions and rules for shortages
- Integration with production planning
How it works in practice
Each sales region sends its monthly forecast. The system processes them, consolidates the quantities, calculates expected revenue and delivers one forecast for production planning.
Intelligent business analytics and management reporting system
AI Business Intelligence & Executive Assistant
The problem
For every report, staff pull data from several systems, merge it and work on it in Excel. Metric definitions differ, and reporting depends heavily on manual preparation.
The solution
An integrated analytics system that collects data from the different sources and provides up-to-date information, automatic reports and an AI assistant for management analysis. It builds on the existing BI environment instead of replacing it.
- Fast access to reliable data
- Less manual reporting
- Faster management decisions
Key features
- Data integration from the ERP systems and other sources
- Shared definitions for revenue, volume, discounts and results
- Automatic periodic reports
- Dashboards by region, client, product and team
- Plan versus actual comparison
- Alerts for significant deviations
- An AI assistant for questions on business data
How it works in practice
„Which regions are below planned revenue this month?“
The system pulls the latest data, compares it with the plan, shows the deviations by region and product and suggests directions for further analysis.
The forecast and the report speak the same language
The same definitions of revenue, volume and discounts apply to both forecasts and reports. Plan and actuals are compared automatically, with no manual reconciliation.
- Integration with the existing systems
- Shared data and rules
- Each new system is rolled out faster
